How To Play The Piano

Playing the piano is a good skill to have. Even if you cant play it well, being able to play a short tune on any piano or keyboard is fun. Here is how to play the piano!

First, you need to know the notes. Here is a diagram:


Start by playing some scales. A basic scale is playing notes in order using only white keys.

Basic Scale - C D E F G A B...

The next type of scale is a black key scale. This is the same as a basic scale, except you play the black keys instead of white keys.

Black Key Scale - F# G# A# C# D#...

The last scale combines everything.

Combined Scale - C C# D D# E F F# G G# A A# B...

Now we are going to play some easy songs. Practice them, and you will be able to play wherever you are!
