5 Easy And Free Pranks

     April fools day is a national holiday celebrated on April 1st. To celebrate this holiday, you play fun pranks on your friends! Here are some fun and easy, free pranks to play on your friends!

         1. Keys In The Water
     Take somebody's car keys, or some other small useful item your friend has that wo'nt get damaged in water. Next, take a cup, (preferably clear) and fill it almost to the top with water. Next, drop their keys or other small waterproof item in the cup. Place a piece of paper or plastic over the top of the cup completely sealing it. Now, quickly flip the cup over on the table. The paper will keep the water from leaking out if you do it quick enough. Then remove the piece of paper careful not to let any water leak. Now your friends keys are stuck in a cup of water!

         2. Insect Lamps
     This prank is simple, and can easily scare a house member who is afraid of bugs. First, print out a template with outlines of bug shapes. One will work, or you can print out more and create an infestation of fake bugs. After you print out the templates, cut them out and tape them to the inside of lamp shades. Turn off the lamp, and wait. When the lamp is turned on, it appears that there is a bug inside! You can wait till your family member turns on the lamp on their own, or give them a newspaper and book and tell them to read it, causing them to turn on the lamp for light.

        3. Mouse Prank
     If you know someone who is on a computer a lot, this is the perfect prank for them. First, cut out small piece of paper. It should be a square with sides about 3/4" (2 cm). Now, if you would like, write something clever on the piece of paper. It can be something that tells them that it was you, or a funny drawing or joke. Now, when they aren't around, go to their computer mouse. Turn it off to avoid accidentally looking into the light in the bottom. Now tape the piece of paper over the light emmiter or sensor. This way, when they go to use their computer, the mouse wont work. If they get too frustrated, you might want to show them it was a prank so you don't cause damage.

         4. Shortsheeting The Bed
     If you have a friend who loves to sleep, this is perfect. First, go to their bed and remove the comforter. Next, Find the top sheet and hold it up at the foot of the bed. Then, fold the sheet up so there is a double thick layer of sheet at the top half of the bed with an opening by the pillows. This way, when your friend goes to sleep, they will go under the first layer of the sheet and their legs will get stuck at the fold.

         5. The Message On The Mirror
     For this prank, you will need to have a bathroom with a mirror. Use lip balm, petroleum jelly, or another waxy substance to write a message on the mirror. You can write a nice note like "Hi ____! Have a great day!" or you could write a message like "they want you next" if you're looking for more of a scare. When your "victim" takes a hot shower, the mirror will fog up because of the steam. Tthe waxy parts where you wrote the message will not fog up and will show the message.
