How To Take Care of Your Indoor Plants

Most plants are different like flowering plants, succulents, and others. Today I'm going to show you how to take care of potted plants you might keep in your house. Here are the basics you need to know.

Flowers (in a vase)

To keep your beautiful flowers alive make sure to change the water every 2-3 days and each time clip of the end of your flower's stem at a 45° angle to get a wider surface area for the water to get into the plant. After trimming the stems put your flowers in warm water.

Flowering Plants

First things first make sure your plant has enough room in its pot to grow its roots out and can drain easily. Next you need to find a good potting soil which you can find at any gardening or outdoor store. Once you have your flower potted place it my a window where it can get even sunlight about 2-4 hours a day depending on your plant. Water the soil every few days and gently mist your plants petals with a small spray bottle and don't touch them or the oils on your fingers could kill the flower.

Potted Plants

Taking care of potted plants is very similar to flowering ones so you have to start out with a good pot and soil. After that place the pot by a window where it can get 4 hours of sunlight depending on the plant. Water your plant every few days pouring the water onto the plants leaves directly.

Succulents

Succulents are by far the easiest plant to take care of. Get a pot for your succulents or you can most likely buy them in an already appropriately sized one. A good soil could never hurt but the one it comes with is usually fine.  Once you get your plant water it once a week no more and no less. Then enjoy your hassle free plant!

Happy gardening see you all soon!
