How to Stargaze

     Imagine this - enormous balls of flaming gas. Huge round orbs made of colorful matter. Millions of miles of beauty. This may sound like a scene out of a fairytale, but this is actually describing the night sky. Here are a few tips on how to observe these wonders of nature.

     Before you go stargazing, you need to be prepared. Make sure you wear clothes that match the weather so you aren't too hot or too cold.

     The most important thing about stargazing is that you can see the stars. Make sure you go stargazing on a clear night, without any clouds. You will be able to see more stars if you are further away from big towns or cities, but it would be fine if you watch the stars from your backyard too.

     If you want to go stargazing, there is more to see than just the stars. The moon is cool to look at too. If you plan to mostly look at the moon, you should go stargazing on a night where there is a full moon, or the moon is almost completely filled up with light. If you want to only see the stars, you will be able to see more on a night when there is a new moon, or you can't see the moon well.
   
    Once there are lots of stars out, you can try finding some constellations. You can look up different constellations to find what they look like and where they are located.
