How to Learn Morse Code

    Morse code was used a long time ago to send messages a far distance. Before there were things that could record your voice or text and send it across the world, it was much easier to send messages using beeping.

    Of course, beeps are not words, so we needed a code of sorts to talk through. Samuel Morse came up with morse code. Every letter would have its own pattern of short and long beeps.

    It is not necessary to learn morse code, and not relatively helpful, but it is a fun way to send messages to your friends!

    Before you learn morse code through a computer, tablet, or phone, you need to understand one main thing. Morse code is made of dits (-) and dots (•/.). A dot is a short beep, and a dit is a slightly longer beep.

    A great website we found is morse with google. Morse with google is a fun website that makes it easy to learn morse code with fun pictures. Using this website, with hard work, will make you fluent in morse code in no time!
