Not only is gardening fun, it is also a healthy way to get outside and get your hands dirty. Gardening also has the added bonus of fresh produce (that tastes way better than store bought)! So let's get started!
Before you do anything, you need to find a good spot for your garden. You can't plant a garden when you don't have a place to pant it! A good place for a garden should be in the sun, and easily accessible by a hose (so you can water easily). Your area doesn't have to be big, but a bigger space will let you have more plants.
After you have chosen a good location, choose your plants. Make sure you choose plants that thrive during the current time of year. Most plants will thrive during early summer or late spring. You may want to wait a few months so your plants will be healthier. If it happens to be the middle of winter and you cant find any plants, you can always have a pot inside to grow plants in.
Most plants have instructions on the tag on how to plant then. These instructions will vary from plant to plant. Fallow the instructions on the tag to make sure you give each plant enough room, water, sun, and other things.
When in doubt, do some research on the plant. Some plants (like apple trees and blueberries) need to be nearby another of the same plant to live. Some plants (like the pitcher plant and the venus flytrap) need fresh flies to live, witch may require buying some and feeding them with a pair of tweezers
The information on the tag will tell you how often to water the plants and how much sun they need, but you should probably water your garden every other day (unless it rains a lot).
If you fallow these instructions, your garden will be flourishing in no time!
Thank you for for reading, and see you soon1
